Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer for a contract position in the United Kingdom (Edinburgh/Glasgow/London). You will own automation code and deployment pipelines, act on the Production Changes Review Board, and present innovative solutions to cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on cloud engineering with AWS, Terraform, GitLab pipelines, Kubernetes (EKS), and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, along with Linux administration and experience navigating enterprise

Qualifications

Strong cloud engineering experience with AWS preferred.
Deep expertise with Terraform.
Hands-on experience building and optimizing GitLab pipelines.
Robust knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS).
Experience managing Elasticsearch/OpenSearch clusters.
Solid foundations in Linux administration.
Experience navigating complex processes in large-scale corporate environments.
Confidence presenting technical solutions to stakeholders.
Experience participating in change management or production review boards is desirable.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of existing custom code and pipelines to accelerate development and deployments.
Act as core member of Production Changes Review Board ensuring stable deployments.
Present infra and DevOps solutions to internal engineering and product teams.
Navigate a complex enterprise ecosystem to unblock development teams.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.
