Job summary

Quotient Therapeutics seeks a Senior Engineer for the Data Infrastructure team to design and evolve our cloud, data and AI infrastructure underpinning our genomics-first platform.

You will lead AWS platform engineering, data systems and AI/ML workloads, collaborating with cloud and data engineers, bioinformaticians and scientists to deliver secure, scalable solutions. This is a senior IC role with technical leadership and accountability.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years designing, building and operating production cloud or data infrastructure.
• Advanced hands-on AWS ownership across multiple production systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and evolution of AWS-based infrastructure across cloud services and AI workloads.
• Design and implement reusable infrastructure patterns including IaC, CI/CD and environment management.
• Own cross-cutting decisions for observability, IAM, networking, resilience and data lifecycle management.
• Mentor Cloud and Data Engineers through design reviews and incident response.
• Translate model development and data requirements into secure, reproducible platform capabilities.
• Diagnose and resolve complex failures across infra, data pipelines and AI workloads.
• Establish engineering standards for testing, release management, security and cost visibility.
• Shape infrastructure roadmap with Head of Data Infrastructure; balance build-vs-buy decisions.
