Job summary

IRIS Software Group in the UK is seeking a Senior Professional Services Consultant to join our North American Professional Services organisation and help customers maximise value from IRIS Accountancy Solutions.

You will lead complex, client-facing engagements, translate accounting and practice requirements into practical cloud-based implementations, and guide customers through adoption while balancing scope, budgets and timelines. Regular travel domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing cloud-based business software in a professional services or similar client-facing environment.
• Strong knowledge of accountancy practices and practice management processes, including reporting.
• Experience with SQL Server/ T-SQL and data reporting tools such as SSRS or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery sessions translating complex requirements into practical solutions using IRIS Accountancy Solutions.
• Review customer processes to identify opportunities for efficiency, adoption and standardisation.
• Design and deliver solutions for complex implementation and consultancy requirements.
• Guide customers through changes to their systems and processes, helping them adopt new ways of working.
• Own delivery challenges and collaborate with internal teams to keep projects moving.
• Manage delivery against scope, budgets, milestones and commitments.
• Identify scope changes and additional opportunities, escalating where needed.
• Contribute to pre-sales discussions with product and consultancy input.
• Promote standard functionality and best practices while minimising customisation.
• Mentor consultants and new starters with coaching and knowledge sharing.
