We have an opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Technician within Clinical Trials. We seek an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and flexible individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of working independently and within the pharmacy team.
You must have a BTEC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Science, successfully completed the BTEC Level 4 Accuracy Checking Technician's course or hold a recognized equivalent qualification, and be registered with the GPhC. The role is for 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities include managing all aspects of the technical pharmacy clinical trials service, contributing to its development, and working with the Senior Pharmacy Technician – Clinical Trials on operational management. You will ensure compliance with legislation and regulations related to clinical trial medications, coordinate staffing, promote teamwork, and assist with staff training and assessment. Ensuring safe working systems in accordance with statutory legislation and professional standards is also key.
