Job summary

ExamWorks Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist to provide senior leadership within our neurodevelopment service. The role combines high-level clinical work with professional oversight, case reviews, and quality assurance across a multidisciplinary team.

You will deliver specialist evaluations, evidence-based formulations, and comprehensive reports while guiding colleagues, contributing to service development, and promoting a neurodiversity-affirming

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy or equivalent).
• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Significant post-qualification experience within neurodevelopment pathways.
• Previous involvement in supervision, mentoring, or clinical leadership.
• Strong formulation, communication and report-writing skills.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
• Sound knowledge of current NICE guidance and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Providing supervision and guidance to clinicians undertaking neurodevelopmental work.
• Participating in multidisciplinary discussions and case conferences.
• Offering senior-level input where professional opinions differ.
• Supporting governance, peer review and quality assurance activities.
• Delivering specialist evaluations and evidence-based formulations.
• Producing comprehensive reports and recommendations.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and service development.
• Promoting a neurodiversity-affirming approach throughout the patient journey.
