Job summary
Evolve Psychology Services is seeking a HCPC-registered psychologist to join a multidisciplinary team delivering neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people. You will conduct structured observations and developmental histories, contribute to diagnostic discussions, and provide clear feedback to families.
The role emphasizes evidence-based assessments for autism and ADHD, with work across NHS-funded referrals and private pathways.
Qualifications
- Must hold HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling, or Educational).
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
- Trained in diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with families and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process.
- Conduct remote developmental history interviews with parents via Zoom.
- Participate in MDT diagnostic discussions with senior clinicians.
- Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
