Job summary

HCRG Care Group in Chippenham, SN15 2AJ, United Kingdom, is seeking a Highly Specialist Psychologist to deliver advanced assessment, formulation and intervention for adults with learning disabilities within a multidisciplinary team.

This part-time role (22.5 hours per week) offers a Band 8a AfC salary of £57,528 to £64,750 per year, NHS pension, and access to extensive learning and development opportunities through the organisation.

Qualifications

• DClinPsy (or equivalent) with HCPC registration and eligibility for Chartered status.
• Experience in psychological assessment and intervention with learning disabilities.
• Advanced psychological assessment, formulation and therapeutic intervention skills.
• Strong communication and resilience to manage complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for adults with learning disabilities.
• Provide person-centred psychological support to individuals, families and carers.
• Lead on safeguarding, risk management and developing behavioural support plans.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care.
• Develop training, consultancy and specialist advice to carers and professionals.
