Job summary

HCRG Care Group in England seeks a Highly Specialist Psychologist to deliver expert assessment, formulation and intervention for adults with learning disabilities. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to improve care and outcomes for service users and support families, carers and professionals.

You will provide consultation, supervise teams, and contribute to service development while applying Positive Behaviour Support and maintaining high clinical standards.

Qualifications

• DClinPsy (or equivalent) and HCPC registration with eligibility for Chartered Clinical Psychologist status.
• Experience in psychological assessment and intervention with complex cases.
• Experience working with learning disabilities and providing consultation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for adults with learning disabilities.
• Provide person-centred psychological support to individuals, families and carers across settings.
• Lead on risk management within a Positive Behaviour Support framework and develop robust support plans.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care and train carers and staff.
