Job summary

Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join the Memory and Later Life Psychology Service in North Cumbria. The post involves neuropsychological assessment to aid differential diagnosis of dementia and delivery of evidence-based therapies for cognitive impairment and associated mental health difficulties.

You will join a multidisciplinary team and provide supervision to trainee clinical psychologists and assistant

Qualifications

• HCPC registered psychologist with doctoral training in clinical psychology.
• 24
• Doctoral level training in clinical psychology and accredited therapies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct highly specialist psychological assessments including neuropsychological assessment for dementia.
• Provide evidence-based psychological therapies.
• Supervise trainee psychologists and assistant psychologists.
