Job summary

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Assistant Psychologist to support cognitive and neuropsychological assessments for older adults with memory difficulties. You will work closely with the Clinical Neuropsychologist within the Pennine Memory Assessment Service.

The role requires an undergraduate psychology degree, strong organisational and autonomous working style, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate psychology degree required.
• Able to work autonomously with strong people skills.
• Interest in older adult mental health and dementia.

Responsibilities

• Support cognitive and neuropsychological assessments as appropriate.
• Participate in MDT discussions and service audits.
• Maintain waiting lists for the memory assessment service.
• Assist with memory assessment processes as required.
• Contribute to audits and quality improvement activities.
