Job summary

PHARMExcel Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Clinical Operations leader to drive delivery of international studies from start-up to close-out, ensuring quality, timeliness and regulatory compliance. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide expert guidance and build strong sponsor and investigator partnerships.

This remote-first role offers UK-wide scope with quarterly head office meet-ups in Welwyn Garden City and occasional trial-site visits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in clinical operations delivering international studies.
• Strong knowledge of study management, site activities and monitoring.
• Proven ability to develop trusted sponsor and vendor relationships.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of clinical studies from start-up to close-out.
• Build relationships with clients, sponsors, investigators, and vendors.
• Provide expert guidance on operations, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Drive protocol development, ethics submissions and study documentation.
• Monitor timelines and budgets to keep studies on track.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement and quality across studies.
