Job summary

Air Balloon Surgery in Bristol is seeking a Senior Clinical Practice Pharmacist to lead our established Pharmacy team. This permanent, part-time post (22.5 hours over three days) focuses on patient safety, medicines optimisation, and governance within the general practice setting.

You will provide direct patient care, perform medication reviews, support staff with prescriptions, and drive quality improvement in collaboration with the ICB Clinical Pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Five years or more post-graduate experience in a clinical practice setting.
• Must be an independent prescriber with primary care prescribing experience.
• Completed Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Pharmacy team to deliver high‑quality clinical services.
• Provide patient-facing reviews and manage medication-related queries.
• Support general practice staff with repeat prescriptions and queries.
