The Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint Senior Clinical Fellows in Anaesthesia, with commencement dates in September 2025. The posts have a duration of 24 months and do not attract a National Training Number.
The posts are based within existing teams, offering access to departmental teaching and developmental opportunities. Although these are not recognized as ‘training posts’, they provide valuable experience in Anaesthetics. The Trust supports those considering the portfolio pathway, with several fellows successfully progressing through it.
Applicants must have full GMC registration with a license to practice. If the applicant does not hold UK residence rights, sponsorship will be required.
The Anaesthetic services are split across two sites and are part of one of the three major trauma centres in the Yorkshire and Humber region. There will be opportunities to engage in teaching, audit, and research, including local courses for primary and final FRCA, which fellows are encouraged to attend.
