Job summary

Webrecruit Ltd in London is recruiting a Senior Clinical Exercise Specialist to coordinate and deliver the HealthWorks programme for Westminster residents. The role focuses on heart and lung health, with a mix of exercise classes, health education, and community engagement.

You will work four days per week (28 hours) on a fixed-term contract, collaborating with partners like Marylebone Bangladesh Society, and supporting participants to improve health, fitness and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older adults in community settings
• Ability to lead group exercise classes and provide one-to-one sessions
• Strong IT and report writing skills, with ability to interpret data
• Degree-level qualification in Sport/Exercise Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• BACPR/Exercise Referral qualification or willingness to undertake training

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and deliver the HealthWorks programme
• Deliver approximately three exercise classes per week
• Assess exercise capabilities and adapt sessions to participants
• Deliver health education sessions and HealthWorks check-ins
• Organise community outreach, taster sessions and wellbeing events
• Manage participant referrals, bookings and programme documentation
• Monitor attendance, evaluate outcomes and prepare reports
