Job summary

Central London Community Health Trust is seeking a Band 4 Cardiac Rehabilitation Assistant Practitioner to work in the community cardiac rehab service in West Hertfordshire. You will support an MDT, deliver exercise sessions, and work across venues and virtually.

The role involves independent exercise assessments, group sessions, and progressing therapies within established guidelines. Part-time, fixed-term contract, with CPD support and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Exercise Professional - Level 2 & 3 exercise instructor.
• Membership of relevant professional body (BACPR / CIMSPA / BASES).
• Desirable Level 4 BACPR cardiac rehabilitation instructor qualification.
• Experience in delivering exercise interventions for cardiac populations.

Responsibilities

• Work independently under the multidisciplinary cardiac rehabilitation team.
• Provide skilled support work and deliver the cardiac rehabilitation exercise component.
• Contribute to delivery across face-to-face, virtual, and home-based formats.
• Assist in clinical and administrative management of patients under care.
• Deliver routine physiotherapeutic and rehabilitation programmes within guidelines.
• Participate in training to support service changes and development.
