Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 4 Cardiac Rehabilitation Assistant Practitioner/Exercise Instructor to deliver cardiac rehab exercise sessions in the community across West Hertfordshire. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, provide assessments, and run exercise sessions with support from the team, across face-to-face, virtual and home-based formats.

Qualifications

• BACPR instructor certification or equivalent training.
• Experience with populations in specialist health care.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the cardiac rehabilitation MDT.
• Support day-to-day running and deliver the cardiac rehab exercise component.
• Contribute to delivery across face-to-face, virtual and home-based formats.
• Assist in clinical and administrative management of patients.
• Deliver routine cardiac rehabilitation treatments within guidelines.
• Participate in training to update service changes.
• Be flexible to work in other areas as needed.
