Job summary

Leading Global CRO, a fully remote UK-based pharma CRO, seeks a Senior Clinical Data Manager to own data management deliverables across projects. You will lead data strategy, study design, and QA processes while mentoring staff and ensuring client satisfaction.

You will oversee eCRF design, data cleaning, and SDTM mapping, coordinating with QA during audits and regulatory inspections. A strong background in CDM and regulatory standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health/pharmaceutical sciences, physical/biological sciences, or chemistry fields.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical clinical trial data management (or 2+ years as a CDM II).
• Deep understanding of clinical trial data management concepts, dataflows, ICH-GCP and data standards.
• Demonstrated leadership in CDM activities and complex data management projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary day-to-day contact and owner of data management deliverables, timelines, and status reports.
• Serve as first line of contact for technical, procedural, or out-of-scope discussions for projects.
• Plan study resources and mentor junior staff; deliver training on EDC systems, dataflow, QC processes.
• Maintain Data Management Study Binders and support during audits and inspections.
• Lead study build and design, participate in UAT and database design.
• Develop essential study documents: DMP, Data Management Project Plan, DQRP.
• Oversee data review, query resolution, SAE reconciliation, and data harmonisation.
• Manage post-go-live database modifications, locks, and QA archival.
