Cripps Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Senior Client Manager for a Chartered Accountancy practice in Abingdon. The role offers a salary of £50,000-£55,000 plus a performance bonus up to 5% and a hybrid, predominantly office-based pattern.

The successful candidate will manage a varied client portfolio, with autonomy over workload and direct client relationships. Essential qualifications include ACCA/ACA/CIMA membership and 5+ years in UK practice.

Qualifications

• Must hold ACCA, ACA, or CIMA membership.
• At least 5 years' UK practice experience.
• Strong year-end accounts and tax knowledge (corporation tax, self-assessment, VAT).
• Ability to manage a portfolio with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: manage files from start to finish and prepare statutory accounts.
• Taxation: prepare corporation tax computations, self-assessment tax returns, and VAT returns/advisory.
• Client Relations: build proactive relationships and manage expectations.
• Team Leadership: mentor and support junior team members, ensuring quality and service.
• Practice Growth: stay ahead of regulatory changes and identify value-add opportunities.
