Job summary

A leading insurance provider in Cheadle is seeking a Senior Claims Handler to support the Claims Team Manager in managing the Claims Handling team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in motor and complex claims, with prior coaching or management experience of a team. You will contribute to achieving excellent outcomes through adherence to procedures, performance observations, and quality audits. Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing motor claims and complex claims.
• Familiarity with credit hire and repair processes.
• Experience in coaching or managing teams effectively.
• Knowledge of GTA, FCA, ABI & BIBA guidelines.
• Knowledge of case law in relation to liability issues and credit hire/repair.

Responsibilities

• Support the Claims Team Manager in team management.

Skills

Due to continued success, we are looking to hire a Senior Claims Handler to join our team.

You will be -

Supporting the Claims Team Manager in the management of the Claims Handling team to achieve good outcomes for customers through their adherence to the defined procedures. You will achieve this through performance observations, quality audit and feedback as well as through coaching and mentoring.

You will ideally have -

• Experience in motor and complex claims handling
• Experience of credit hire and credit repair
• Coached or managed a team of at least 6
• Knowledge of GTA, FCA, ABI & BIBA guidelines
• Knowledge of case law in relation to liability issues and credit hire/repair
