RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. in the United Kingdom seeks an AVP, Senior Claims Analyst to manage and analyse complex claims across Casualty, Specialty and Property.

You will support underwriters and actuaries, lead claims audits and provide technical expertise to improve processes and outcomes. The role involves collaboration with finance, actuarial and operations, and requires extensive experience, strong Excel skills and familiarity with US GAAP.

Qualificações

• A university degree preferred, or comparable relevant experience.
• A professional qualification preferrable (ACII or similar).
• At least 5 to 8 years prior relevant industry experience.
• Fully proficient, has in-depth knowledge, works independently on moderate to highly complex insurance/reinsurance coverage matters.
• Familiarity with and ability to conduct client claim audits independently including all pre and post audit activities, feedback and reports.
• Proficient with Excel and spreadsheets specifically with the use of pivot tables, etc.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, other relevant GAAP or regulatory reporting requirements as applicable.
• Experience with public companies and SOX 404 is advantageous

Responsabilidades

• Actively handle claims arising from a variety of classes of business including Casualty, Specialty and Property, with a focus on moderate to highly complex matters.
• Investigate, handle and seek to resolve all claims in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Build and maintain relationships with key brokers and internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure claims systems are kept up to date in a timely manner.
• Promote compliance with best practice for all aspects of claims management.
• Lead claims audits.
• Support with evaluating, training, advising, and mentoring the claims staff and providing technical expertise to the claims and underwriting process.
