Qualifications

• Experience in data science, analytics or a similar analytical role within insurance.
• Strong knowledge of data science techniques, with hands-on Python or R and SQL.
• Ability to interpret business challenges and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills, able to communicate findings in commercial terms.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships across Claims, Portfolio Management, Data and Technology as a key business partner.
• Identify business challenges with claims leaders and translate into practical analytical solutions.
• Apply data science, statistics and ML to claims data to identify trends and improve performance.
• Develop insights across claims forecasting, triage, severity, recoveries and operational performance.
• Turn analysis into practical tools and recommendations embedded in day-to-day decisions.
• Help shape and develop a dedicated claims analytics capability with visible impact.
