Job summary

Claims Recruitment Services Ltd. in London is seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster - Construction to manage First Party and Third-Party Liability claims arising from CAR/EAR policies from FNOL to settlement and recovery.

The role requires handling complex liability claims, negotiating settlements, and providing timely reserves and reporting. You will liaise with clients, insurers and internal teams while maintaining accurate records and MI inputs.

Qualifications

• Third Party Liability CAR/EAR claims handling experience.
• Experience of London Company market in CAR/EAR and Engineering matters.
• Experience of JCT/ LEG/ DE.
• Experience of market meetings in a lead or follow capacity.
• Good general knowledge of insurance principles.
• Awareness of current regulation, case law, and market issues.
• Good working knowledge of claims portal.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking initial evaluation of cause of loss to determine whether a claim is covered and what further information may be required.
• Investigating, negotiating and settling claims within statutory and company guidelines.
• Assisting in setting accurate, realistic and timely claim reserves.
• Liaising with clients, insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, solicitors, experts and internal teams to coordinate claims and address informational, procedural and authority requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records for auditing and regulatory purposes, preparing reports as necessary.
• Ensuring accurate inputting of claims data to support portfolio reporting and management information (MI).
