Claims Recruitment Services Ltd. is recruiting a Senior Claims Adjuster - Construction for a leading London Market Insurer.

You will handle First Party and Third Party Liability claims from FNOL through to settlement and recovery, focusing on CAR/EAR policies. Key duties include initial cause of loss evaluation, investigation, negotiation, reserve setting, and coordinating with clients, insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, solicitors and internal teams.

Qualifikationen

• Experience handling Third Party Liability CAR/EAR claims.
• Experience in the London Company market handling CAR/EAR and engineering matters.
• Familiar with JCT/ LEG/ DE contracts.
• Experience participating in market meetings in lead or follow roles.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles and regulatory context.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

• Maintaining accurate records for auditing and regulatory purposes, preparing reports as necessary.
• Ensuring accurate inputting of claims data to support portfolio reporting and management information (MI).

The successful candidate will handle First Party and Third-Party Liability claims originating from CAR/EAR policies from FNOL to settlement and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertaking initial evaluation of cause of loss to determine whether a claim is covered and what further information may be required.
• Investigating, negotiating and settling claims within statutory and company guidelines.

Key Requirements

• Third Party Liability CAR/EAR claims handling experience.
• Experience of London Company market in CAR/EAR and Engineering matters.
• Experience of JCT/ LEG/ DE.
• Experience of market meetings in a lead or follow capacity.
• Good general knowledge and understanding of insurance principles.
• General awareness of current regulation, case law, and market issues.
• Good working knowledge of claims portal.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and report writing skills.
