Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Civils Lead for a landmark data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland. You will lead civil, structural and architectural works, directing CSA engineers and subcontractors on site from enabling works through handover.

The role requires a civil/structural engineering degree, substantial CSA experience, and a strong track record with main contractors, ideally in data centres or mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' CSA experience on large-scale projects.
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong background with a main contractor.
• Data centre or mission-critical experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Valid CSCS card and SMSTS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of civil, structural and architectural (CSA) works.
• Manage CSA engineers, supervisors and subcontractors on site.
• Plan and coordinate groundworks, foundations, drainage, concrete and steel packages.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, to specification, on programme and on budget.
• Coordinate CSA interfaces with MEP and commissioning teams.
• Review method statements, temporary works and quality documentation.
• Report progress and risks to senior project leadership.
