Job summary

3D Personnel LTD is recruiting a Civils Lead for a major data centre construction project in Blyth, Northumberland. The role focuses on delivering civil and structural packages, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring programme and QA/QC standards are met on site.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years CSA construction experience on large-scale projects and a civil engineering degree. Data centre experience is advantageous. Travel within the North East region is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' CSA construction experience on large-scale projects.
• Civil Engineering degree preferred.
• Proven experience leading civil and structural work packages.
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, programme management and subcontractor coordination.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary site teams.
• Data centre experience advantageous, although candidates from major industrial projects will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction delivery of civil and structural packages across the project.
• Manage subcontractors, engineering teams and site resources.
• Oversee construction planning, sequencing and programme delivery.
• Ensure works align with drawings and specs.
• Manage QA/QC compliance, inspections and documentation.
• Chair progress and coordination meetings.
• Work with commercial team during weekly reviews.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and interfaces.
• Maintain high standards of site health and safety.
