Job summary

BYLOR Joint Venture is creating a dedicated Civil Engineering Senior Surveyor team to support the Hinkley Point C main civil works. You will establish and manage a robust survey control network, ensuring precise measurements across all project activities.

You will lead on-site and office-based tasks, using leading instruments and software to deliver data, quality records, and technical support for one of Europe’s largest infrastructure and nuclear projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geomatics or Engineering Surveying (Desirable)
• ICES/RICS membership (Desirable)
• Technical Qualifications (NVQ/HNC etc.)
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role
• Experience establishing survey networks
• Specialist engineering surveying skills

Responsibilities

• Report to Project Civil Surveyor
• Implementation of dimensional control
• Team management
• Quality assurance
• Survey data management and analytics
• Supply survey drawings and data
• Produce survey quality records
• Provide technical support
• Work on site and in the office as required
• Utilise state-of-the-art equipment (Leica TS16 / MS60, RTC360, GNSS) and software (Civil3D, AutoCAD, Leica Infinity, Cyclone3RD, MicroSurvey StarNet, Excel)
