Job summary

List Recruitment is seeking a Chartered Civil & Structural Engineer to join our client’s team in North Lincolnshire on an initial 12-month contract. The role covers discipline advisory duties, design input and coordination across project stages.

You will work with AutoCAD and structural design software, ensure compliance with discipline standards, and liaise with consultants and the site team to develop practical solutions.

Qualifications

• BEng or Master’s degree in engineering (or relevant discipline) is required.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership is advantageous.
• Excellent communicator and presenter with strong written/verbal skills.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Act as Discipline Adviser implementing policy & discipline expertise.
• Promote best practice and knowledge sharing within the discipline.
• Provide discipline input into all project stages (FEL, design assurance, procurement).
• Provide MOC discipline guidance and direction.
• Design and review using Civil & Structural engineering software (e.g., Tekla, SAP2000, etc.).
• Liaise with consultants and site teams to develop practical solutions and ensure compliance.
