Job summary

Pegasus Group is seeking an Associate or Principal Infrastructure Engineer to lead and grow its Civil Infrastructure team in Bristol. The role focuses on delivering highway and drainage schemes for private sector developments, while building strong client relationships and contributing to company growth.

You will oversee resources, ensure quality outputs, and align with ISO standards. The position requires Chartered or Incorporated status and experience in UK schemes such as Section 38/278/104.

Qualifications

• BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) required / or similar.
• Chartered (CEng) or Incorporated (IEng) status with ICE, CIWEM or relevant body (desirable for Principal; expected for Associate).
• 6+ years post-graduate experience for Principal or 8+ years for Associate in UK consultancy/private sector infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Bristol Civils Infrastructure team, delivering high-quality highway and drainage design.
• Manage clients, local authorities and internal teams, supporting project delivery and successful fee/tender submission.
• Provide independent technical direction on complex civil infrastructure schemes from pre-planning to detailed design and construction.
• Support Directors on major fee proposals and act as a technical authority for cross-team guidance.
