Blue Inn Recruitment is seeking a Senior Estimator for a Top 10 Main Contractor in the UK construction market. The role focuses on leading civil projects in excess of £100m, with reporting to the Managing Estimator/Project Director and a requirement to estimate from first principles.

The successful candidate will have prior estimating experience with a UK main contractor in heavy civil projects and a market-leading salary package with generous benefits, based at head office in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating for a main contractor in the UK, particularly in heavy civil projects.
• Ability to estimate from first principles and drive the early design and cost planning process.
• Strong of collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.

• Lead major civil projects with budgets in excess of £100m.
• Provide accurate cost estimation and risk assessment.
• Report to Managing Estimator / Project Director and liaise with commercial teams.
