Job summary

Abatec Ltd. invites applications for a Permanent Senior Engineer to lead on South Wales water infrastructure projects. The role focuses on delivering complex civil schemes across the M4 Corridor with an engineering management remit within the project delivery team.

You will oversee technical leadership, coordinate site activities, review designs for issues, and ensure compliance with drawings and standards while collaborating with designers, subcontractors and site managers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in heavy civil engineering projects.
• Experience in water/wastewater or utilities projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, standards and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering leadership across your section of works.
• Manage and coordinate engineering activities on site.
• Ensure works are constructed in accordance with drawings, specifications and approved methodologies.
• Review designs and identify potential technical issues before construction.
• Promote a strong culture of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Liaise with designers, subcontractors and site management teams.
