Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join the Regulated Water Asset Design team in the UK. You will take ownership of project delivery across wastewater, water treatment, sewerage and water networks, working with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure outcomes meet budgets and schedules.

You will mentor graduates and apprentices, contribute to bid activities, and help advance digital and sustainability initiatives within AMP8 and broader water sector projects.

Qualifications

• Client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Leadership and mentoring of junior engineers.
• Experience in managing projects within budget and schedule.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for all aspects of project delivery including health & safety, technical, quality, schedule and budget
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams
• Shape service delivery and identify opportunities to leverage wider WSP capabilities
• Build relationships with clients to ensure delivery and satisfaction
• Contribute to innovative approaches and digital product delivery
• Support Future Ready and Net Zero initiatives
• Act as an ambassador for best practice within the Asset Design team
• Undertake bid preparation, resource and budget development
• Line manage and support development of graduates and apprentices
• Contribute to recruitment and growth of civil engineering team
• Develop technical, managerial and leadership skills throughout your career
