Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Regulated Water Asset Design team in the UK. You will own project delivery, lead multi-disciplinary teams and shape how we deliver water sector schemes across the UK and internationally.

Chartered status and strong mentoring ability are highly valued as you support graduates and collaborate with clients to achieve project outcomes within budget and schedule, while advancing innovation and digital delivery across our projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered status, or significant progression towards ICE/CIWEM membership.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for all aspects of project delivery including health & safety, technical, quality, schedule and budget.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams.
• Shape delivery and identify opportunities to deliver services from the wider WSP business.
• Build relationships with clients to ensure project outcomes and satisfaction.
• Contribute to innovative approaches, new services and digital products.
• Support Future Ready and Net Zero programmes.
• Act as an ambassador for best practice within the Asset Design team.
• Undertake bid preparation, resource and budget development.
• Line manage and mentor graduate engineers and apprentices.
• Contribute to recruitment and growth of the civil engineering team.
