WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join the Regulated Water Asset Design team. You will deliver projects across wastewater, water treatment, sewerage and water networks, leading multi-disciplinary teams and partnering with clients to achieve outcomes across the AMP8 programme.

You will oversee budgets, schedules and quality, mentor graduates and engineers, and help drive innovative approaches and digital products.

Qualificações

• Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Chartered status or significant progression towards ICE/CIWEM desired.
• Experience leading engineering design teams, incl. civil engineers and other disciplines.
• Experience delivering projects within budget and schedule.
• Experience in checking/technical approval on linear civil infrastructure or industrial/design projects.
• Experience mentoring junior civil engineers to grow technical skills.
• Client-facing experience and strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of all aspects of project delivery including health & safety, technical, quality, schedule and budget.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams.
• Shape service delivery and identify opportunities to leverage broader WSP capabilities in the UK and overseas.
• Build relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and project outcomes.
• Contribute to innovative approaches, new services and digital product delivery.
• Contribute to Future Ready and Net Zero initiatives.
• Act as an ambassador for best practice within the Asset Design team and client initiatives.
• Lead bid preparation, resource and budget development.
• Line manage and support the professional development of graduates and apprentices.
• Contribute to recruitment and growth of the civil engineering team.
• Continue development of technical, managerial and leadership skills.
