The Launch Group is collaborating with a leading UK engineering and construction business to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer. This role focuses on driving civil engineering excellence across a diverse water and wastewater portfolio, delivering designs and ensuring compliance with standards.

You will work with cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and contribute to innovative, sustainable design practices while supporting project delivery across the UK.

Competenze

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status advantageous.
• Experience delivering high-quality engineering solutions in regulated infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of design, quality, safety and project delivery requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Mansioni

• Lead and support development of civil engineering designs for water and wastewater projects.
• Ensure designs comply with legislation, standards, and client requirements.
• Collaborate with commercial, operational and construction teams to develop buildable solutions.
• Manage interfaces between civil and other technical disciplines.
• Undertake technical reviews and act as a checker for engineering deliverables.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders using a collaborative approach.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, digital engineering and sustainable design.
• Conduct site visits and constructability reviews to ensure successful delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and colleagues across the team.
