The Launch Group in the UK seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil design for water and wastewater projects, from feasibility through commissioning. You will ensure designs are safe, compliant, and sustainable while working with multidisciplinary teams.

You will mentor graduates, engage with clients, and help shape best practice within a financially robust business delivering critical infrastructure across the country.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of civil designs for water and wastewater projects.
• Ensure designs comply with legislation, standards, and client requirements.
• Collaborate with commercial, operational, and construction teams for buildable solutions.
• Manage interfaces between civil engineering and other disciplines.
• Perform technical reviews and act as a checker for deliverables.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in a collaborative team.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, digital engineering, and sustainable design practices.
• Conduct site visits and constructability reviews to ensure delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and graduates within the wider team.
