Job summary

Stantec in the UK is seeking experienced Senior Civil Engineers to join our Water division, leading civil design on AMP8 projects across the UK and Ireland. You will work with top water clients to develop innovative solutions for water supply, treatment and distribution, and mentor graduates and junior engineers within a collaborative, one-team culture.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and active progress toward chartership; we support flexible working and opportunities to influence

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
• Ideally a member of a relevant engineering institution and actively working towards chartership.
• Experience in the water industry preferred.
• Track record of undertaking designs and complete design deliverables on time and within budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil design on projects over AMP8.
• Work as part of a team on needs identification, feasibility, outline and detailed design.
• Support and mentor graduates and junior engineers.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to develop innovative solutions for clients.
• Deliver designs within required timescales and budgets.
