Job summary

Kier Group plc. is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead civil, structural and geotechnical projects across multiple UK locations.

You will manage temporary works design and coordination from concept to delivery in a busy, delivery-focused team. Candidates should be Chartered Engineers (CEng) or with equivalent experience, possess solid design and buildability knowledge, strong communication skills and a track record of project leadership in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent experience required.
• Strong grounding in civil/structural/geotechnical engineering principles.
• Experience with temporary works design/management.
• Ability to lead projects and work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex construction engineering services including temporary works design/checking.
• Act as Project Lead for multiple projects from bid to delivery.
• Produce and review designs, calculations, drawings, 3D models and risk assessments.
• Support continuous improvement of processes and systems.
