Job summary

Kier Group plc is seeking a Principal Engineer to join our team across multiple UK locations. The role focuses on civil, structural and/or geotechnical engineering with agile working options and a starting salary of £60k per year.

You will lead complex projects, manage technical scope and budgets, and deliver design outputs that meet CDM, SHE and QA requirements. A Chartered Engineer or equivalent experience is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent experience required.
• Knowledge of applicable design standards and safety regulations.
• Experience with temporary works design and/or management is preferred.
• Strong organisational and communication skills for collaborative teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of复杂 construction engineering services, including temporary works design and checking.
• Act as Project Lead for multiple complex projects from bid through delivery.
• Produce and review calculations, sketches, drawings, 3D models and risk assessments.
• Contribute to process improvements and capability development.
