Stantec is seeking a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to join the Rivers and Coastal Management team in Cambridge or Reading. You will design and manage a diverse range of river and coastal projects, contributing to flood risk schemes and lowland drainage works, while safeguarding people and infrastructure.

You will lead design coordination, liaise with clients and regulators, and guide projects from concept to construction, mentoring junior staff and supporting the growth of the team.

Qualifikationen

• Chartered professional status, or close to application.
• Experience coordinating with multiple disciplines on design/specification of works.
• Experience supervising and monitoring construction works.
• Ability to represent Stantec in client-facing situations.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality technical work.
• AutoCAD experience is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Prepare designs, specifications and reports for flood risk and river/coastal schemes.
• Communicate design information across all project stages from concept to construction.
• Mentor junior staff and QA design outputs.
• Liaise with Environment Agency, Marine Management Organisation and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams throughout projects.
• Support construction phase activities including responding to technical queries and inspections.
