Stantec in the UK is seeking an Assistant or Civil Engineer to join the Rivers and Coastal Management team across Cambridge, Reading, Exeter or Taunton. You will design flood risk schemes, coordinate with regulators and clients, and support construction through to delivery.

You’ll work with multi-disciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and pursue Chartered status as part of a clear progression path.

Qualifikationen

• Civil Engineering degree required.
• Working towards Chartered professional status.
• Previous responsible experience in relevant design roles.
• Experience working with other disciplines on design and specification.
• Experience working with Contractors supervising construction works.
• Ability to work independently and produce high quality technical work.
• AutoCAD experience is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Prepare designs, specifications and reports for flood risk management schemes and river/coastal engineering.
• Prepare and communicate design information for all project stages from concept to construction.
• NEC Contract management experience is desirable but not essential.
• Support team with QA checks and ensure high-quality design information.
• Liaise with Environment Agency, Marine Management Organisation and other stakeholders for consents.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and multi-disciplinary Stantec teams throughout all project stages.
• Support construction stage with technical queries and inspections; monitor quality.
• Contribute to growth of the team and mentor early career staff.
