Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in civil/structural engineering design.
• Experience within a nuclear or similar high hazard environment.
• Familiarity with safety case development (HAZID, HAZOP).

Responsibilities

• Author and manage nuclear infrastructure design substantiation documents.
• Prepare and manage design changes and concessions.
• Develop and review Periodic Review of Safety reports.

Skills

Design assessment of reinforced concrete and steelwork

Justifying civil/structural design modifications

Knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes

Experience in nuclear high-risk environments

Education

HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline

Chartered Engineer status
