A leading engineering services firm is looking for a Civil Engineer to join their team in Glasgow. This role focuses on ensuring safety in nuclear projects by developing and managing engineering design substantiation. Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in civil/structural design and ability to produce technical justifications within high-risk sectors. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Civil/Structural design.
• Proven ability to produce technical justifications for civil/structural design modifications in high-hazard industries.
• Skilled in applying theoretical and practical methods to design, develop, and manage engineering processes in nuclear/high-risk environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, assess, and manage Design Substantiation documents.
• Lead the development and control of design changes and concessions.
• Present design substantiations to safety committees.
• Produce and maintain EIMT schedules, procedures, and records to support the safety case.
• Prepare and review Periodic Review of Safety reports.
