Job summary

VolkerStevin in Helensburgh is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead engineering activities on a major long-term framework. You will mentor engineers, champion safety and quality, and ensure timely, compliant project delivery on site.

Responsibilities include producing RAMS and ITPs, managing RFIs and NCRs, coordinating with the supply chain, and maintaining accurate site records. UK security clearance eligibility and a driving licence are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Senior Engineer role within civil engineering, infrastructure or construction.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and engineering best practice.
• Experience producing and managing RAMS, ITPs and quality documentation.
• Knowledge of temporary works, quality systems and site engineering controls.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities on site.
• Mentor and develop engineers within your team.
• Produce and manage RAMS, Temporary Works Briefs, ITPs, NCRs, Technical Queries, Early Warnings and progress updates.
• Support the management of the supply chain, ensuring effective coordination and performance.
• Manage material forecasting, procurement and reconciliation.
