Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead engineering activities on the Sturty Link Road project in Canterbury. You will produce RAMS and ITPs, manage weekly progress, and coordinate with the Site Agent on-site.

The candidate will oversee engineers, ensure safety and compliance, and drive continuous progress on a 550m road and 250m viaduct. An on-site role requires strong civil engineering experience.

Qualifications

• MEng/BEng/Foundation Degree/BTEC/ Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of varied site experience in Civil Engineering.
• Knowledge and understanding of construction management.
• Business Awareness.
• Effective use of Initiative.

Responsibilities

• As Senior Engineer you will be responsible for all engineering duties and ensuring the engineers under your control complete theirs.
• You will also produce RAMS, temporary works briefs, ITP's, weekly progress and planning updates, NCR's, TQs and Early Warnings.
• The role will be based on-site and will report to a Site Agent.
