Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Sturty Link Road project in Canterbury. Based on-site, you will lead engineering activities and ensure team delivery to program, while coordinating RAMS, ITPs and design reviews.

You will produce technical documentation, lead on-site safety and quality processes, and report to the Site Agent. A robust civil engineering background and leadership capability are essential.

Qualifications

• MEng/BEng/Foundation Degree/BTEC or degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of varied site experience in Civil Engineering.
• Knowledge and understanding of construction management.
• Business awareness and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all engineering duties and ensure engineers under supervision complete them.
• Produce RAMS, temporary works briefs, ITPs, weekly progress and planning updates, NCRs, TQs and Early Warnings.
• On-site role reporting to a Site Agent.
