Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our UK practice. You will lead (or contribute to the leadership of) the delivery of infrastructure projects, ranging from drainage design, highway projects, defence schemes and data centre design, through to site experience of construction support, providing technical and project management expertise while supporting the growth of the business.

Qualifications

Significant experience in UK development-led infrastructure engineering.
Strong capability in the design of highways, access roads and infrastructure for development projects.
Good experience with 3D modelling and Civil 3D.
Familiar with drainage design including piped systems and SuDS.
Degree in Civil Engineering; Chartered or approaching chartered status.

Responsibilities

Provide commercial and technical leadership to teams of engineers and technicians, programming workloads and delivering projects on time, within budget and to quality.
Lead, review, and approve civil engineering infrastructure designs and specifications for site development.
Undertake project management across a portfolio of schemes.
Support business development and client relationship building in the property and development sectors.
Coordinate with other engineers and specialists across the UK and global offices.
