Job summary

Arup in Liverpool is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Infrastructure team, delivering civil design across energy, water and transportation projects.

You will lead feasibility through detailed design and construction support, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure sustainable, innovative solutions.

The role offers exposure to nationally significant projects and a collaborative culture that values continuous improvement and BIM and data-led design.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in civil engineering design across site development and major infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of design standards and industry best practice.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of civil design solutions across a range of complex infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate design packages, manage technical interfaces and oversee calculations, drawings and reports.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Contribute to project planning, programme and commercial performance.
