Job summary

Arup's Leeds office is seeking a Civil Engineer to join a team of around 100 engineers, scientists and technicians, delivering civil design across water, utilities and transport projects in the UK.

You will own design packages, manage commercial aspects, supervise junior engineers and collaborate with clients and colleagues to achieve strong outcomes, with opportunities to lead and develop technical specialisms.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in Civil Engineering with a 2.1 class or above.
• Current or completed professional qualification in civil engineering.
• Proven civil engineering design experience across water, utilities or transport sectors.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD or MicroStation, InfoDrainage and GIS.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of design packages and projects, including commercial aspects.
• Coordinate events, activities, processes and smaller internal projects, with potential for leadership.
• Mentor and support junior engineers in their development.
• Collaborate with clients, customers and colleagues to achieve agreed outcomes.
