Job summary
Arup in Sheffield is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the site development team. You will contribute to sustainable, resilient infrastructure across the UK, delivering multidisciplinary design that integrates civil elements with other disciplines.
You will work on areas such as drainage, highways, utilities coordination and BIM-enabled design, with opportunities for mentoring, development and chartership progression.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience in civil engineering design and project delivery.
- Experience with Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage or AutoCAD.
- Interest in digital design, BIM and automation within engineering delivery.
- Proactive and adaptable approach to problem solving.
- Chartered progression towards ICE would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions for a range of infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated and sustainable designs.
- Produce technical designs, drawings and reports to high standards.
- Engage with clients and project teams to develop practical outcomes.
- Take ownership of defined elements and check quality of work.
- Contribute to digital engineering and BIM-led design approaches.
