Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Career or Senior Level Civil Engineer in the UK to lead civil design and analysis for manufacturing and industrial facilities. You will coordinate with clients, project managers and other disciplines, and guide the team through concept development to final design.

Role emphasizes strong technical mentoring, adherence to codes, and effective communication within a hybrid work environment across offices and sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing project experience.
• Experience with large industrial facilities is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley software.
• Strong design, analysis and technical mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering and analysis for projects.
• Lead a team or act as Civil Lead on smaller/medium projects.
• Review construction docs for accuracy and code compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers and other disciplines.
• Develop design concepts and communicate civil requirements clearly.
